ABOUT US
Jesus taught Christians to obey two commandments above all others. One of these is to “Love your neighbour as yourself.” In the parable of the Good Samaritan, he explains that our neighbour is anyone in need. The Samaritan helped the person who had been attacked and robbed, whilst others passed him by. At Wanstead & Woodford Migrant Support (WWMS), we seek to live out this teaching by assisting those most in need, welcoming migrants and vulnerable individuals from all backgrounds, irrespective of gender, race, colour, nationality, ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, health status, HIV status, age, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation or political beliefs, and offering practical support, guidance, and a caring community.
WWMS is a registered Christian charity based in Woodford, North East London (charity number 1172757) and is registered with the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA). Our mission is to empower and uplift migrants in the UK by providing long-term support, fostering inclusivity, and advocating for their rights. Through collaborative efforts and compassionate initiatives, we strive to build a resilient community where every migrant feels valued, embraced, and equipped for a brighter future. Join us in creating a more inclusive and welcoming society by donating or volunteering today.
